After graduating with a Bachelor of Art degree, April began teaching art in Arkansas to students in grades kindergarten through twelve. She made the decision to become an artist as a child. She holds a Master of Education degree in School Counseling and Leadership.
April lives with her husband, Tommy. They are happy parents of three children and make their home in Arkansas.
